- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I attended the Marist Sister College in Woolwich, New South Wales Australia, from 1950 to 1954. My aunt was a Marist Sister Sr. Borromeo who was in Fiji the Islands for some of her time. She was also at Merrylands Convent where she worked in the area of vocations to the Marist Sisters in Australia. I have a photo of Sr. Boromeo in Rome meeting Pope John Paul 11 now St. Pope John Paul. I have been trying to find on the internet a Marist Sisters Convent in New Malden, Surrey KT3 50PEngland, where my daughters Suzanne and Bronwyn Bishton and my niece Monica Collins from Canberra also great nieces of Mother Borromeo SM had accommodation when they visited England in 1987. I had a wonderful and fulfilling time as a marist student at Woolwich in the 1950s and recently attended a Reunion there in May this year.
